MINISTRIES
Teen Ministry
We have Wednesday Services for teenagers. Mrs. Cindy Flatt leads our teen services. God has blessed this youth group as we reach students for Christ. Various opportunities to share talents and skills are offered throughout the year as we take part in various events with our East TN District NYI. More information can be found at www.etnyi.org. We welcome every teen to our group with love and acceptance. We would be honored to have your teen be a part of what God is doing through today's young people.
Women's Ministry
Our Women’s Director is Mrs. Elaine Collier. Elaine has a passion to offer numerous events allowing ladies to grow in a variety of ways. Each event is an opportunity to encourage, laugh and grow in God’s Word. Please feel free to join any of the events that are held for our women. It is an honor to love and share what God is doing in our lives.
Missions
As the Church of the Nazarene has always been rooted in the fundamental believe that we are to go and preach the gospel to all nations. It is the hope of our church to reach people for Christ both locally and around the world. Many have attended mission trips sponsored by the global denomination and other organization to further the Kingdom of God. Mission books are available to read and return. These books will enlighten readers of the impact missions has on the world. Tammy Garcia Romo, our local NMI President, strives to offer many ways of servicing in missions both locally and around the world.
Children's Ministry
We are proud of our children and those who work so hard to educate them for Jesus. We have a great Children's Church service led by dedicated individuals and Mrs. Greer Cash which begins after congregational worship music. Sunday morning children program is divided into 3 age groups for infants (nursery 0-3), Primary-4-10 years old. Wednesday evening we have two different classes for children age groups and a teen class. We would love the opportunity to serve you and your family.
Young Adult Ministry
While learning about Christ on Sunday mornings during Sunday school and Morning Worship. God is truly doing something great among these individuals who range from late teens to middle-aged adults as everyone is welcome to join since the family grows and matures together encouraging each other through every stage of their lives. Times and details of outings are announced during Sunday services and published in the weekly bulletin.
Stewardship and Discipleship Ministries
It is the hope of our leaders that we provide an age-appropriate setting for every age group on Sunday mornings for our Sunday school hour. The curriculum is holiness-based studies that will encompass our holiness doctrine. For we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.......Holy living requires holy teachings. Allow our teachers to encourage you as you strive for christian living. Please come and join our Sunday School classes at 9:00 am weekly.
