MINISTRIES
Teen Services
We have Wednesday Services for teenagers. Mrs. Cindy Flatt leads our teen services. God has blessed this youth group as we reach students for Christ. Various opportunities to share talents and skills are offered throughout the year as we take part in various events with our East TN District NYI. More information can be found at www.etnyi.org. We welcome every teen to our group with love and acceptance. We would be honored to have your teen be a part of what God is doing through today's young people.
Women's Ministry
Although our Tuesday Night Bible Study began as a Women's Bible Study, many have joined in for the opportunity to be challenged while learning God's Word.
Missions
As the Church of the Nazarene has always been rooted in the fundamental believe that we are to go and preach the gospel to all nations. It is the hope of our church to reach people for Christ both locally and around the world. Many have attended mission trips sponsored by the global denomination and other organization to further the Kingdom of God. Mission books are available to read and return. These books will enlighten readers of the impact missions has on the world.
Children's Ministry
We are proud of our children and those who work so hard to educate them for Jesus. We have a great Children's Church service led by dedicated individuals which begins after congregational worship music. Sunday morning children program is divided into 3 age groups for infants (nursery 0-3), Primary-4 years old to 6 years old, and 7-10 years old. Wednesday evening we have two different classes for children age groups and a teen class. We would love the opportunity to serve you and your family.
Young Adult Ministry
While learning about Christ on Sunday mornings during Sunday school and Morning Worship, our young adults meet on Sunday evenings for fellowship and bible study. They have begun to refer to this time as "Circle Service" as everyone is welcome and they end times together gathered in prayer. God is truly doing something great among these individuals who range from late teens to middle-aged adults as everyone is welcome to join since the family grows and matures together encouraging each other through every stage of their lives. Times and details of outings are announced during Sunday services and published in the weekly bulletin.
Stewardship and Discipleship Ministries
It is the hope of our leaders that we provide an age-appropriate setting for every age group on Sunday mornings for our Sunday school hour. The curriculum is holiness-based studies that will encompass our holiness doctrine. For we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.......Holy living requires holy teachings. Allow our teachers to encourage you as you strive for christian living. *********at this time we are not meeting in small groups on Sunday mornings. We are in hope of resuming this vital ministry in the near future. Please come and join our Morning Worship service at 10 am weekly in the meantime.
